Oxytocin is the fucking goddess of birth! Your oxytocin hormone literally DRIVES your labour. Without it you’re not having a baby! Give her space, give her what she needs and she will PROVIDE! Boost your oxytocin during birth with things that make you feel safe, warm, fuzzy and happy <3

“So I purchased your hypnobirthing course when I was 37 weeks pregnant and it was the best choice I ever made. I appreciate how it was jam packed with PLENTY of knowledge, hints and tips. I took away what I wanted to try – this was mainly the breathing exercises (the peak of the contraction, riding the wave etc), comb trick, KICO, FFFF (the best!), I made sure to make a folder of plenty of funny videos/memes that made me laugh (to boost oxytocin during early stages of labour).

This was my first pregnancy and I was a bit apprehensive about how long I’d be in labour. I went into spontaneous labour at 2:30am on 09/04 – I was able to breathe through the contractions as they were manageable and even took a 2 hour nap around 6am! I woke up at 8am as I felt a more “intense” contraction but carried out with my exercises on the birthing ball, watching videos that were making me laugh and using the comb trick.

My waters broke around midday which intensified my contractions, shortly after we headed to the hospital and got set up for monitoring in the maternity assessment ward. Within an hour of being there I felt like the contractions had intensified so much more, at this point I hadn’t asked for any pain relief. But it got to a point where I asked my birthing partner to ask what my options were, I settled for gas and air and agreed to an examination. The doctor confirmed I was 8cm dilated! Still with my trusty comb in my hand, maintaining FFFF and with gas and air I powered through. Shortly after I felt a sensation to push and was rushed to the labour ward.

I used your technique for pushing (breathing baby out, along with KICO), however baby decided to change position which resulted in an assisted delivery (forceps). Nonetheless I was so happy and proud of myself that I managed to get through it all using your techniques and with gas and air – I really didn’t think I could do it. My baby was born 6pm that evening, so I was in labour for a total of 15-16 hours or so (overjoyed with that as I was worried I could be in labour for days!).

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and what you have put together to help women like me. Without your techniques I can’t say I could’ve done it without pain relief or it could’ve gone as smooth as it did.”

No matter who you are, what your past life or current life entails it’s safe to know that YOU can influence with the power of the mind and when you do, magical things really do start to happen!

Much love
