Floppy Face Floppy Fanny X The Comb. They’re a match made in heaven babehhh! If you don’t know, you defo need to know! I love the comb so much as a technique and not just for birth. Hold the comb with the teeth pointing in, just below where your fingers meet your palm. This acupressure point is called P8. What happens is, when you’re holding the comb in this way, it can help to block pain signals during labour as your brain concentrates on those sensations as part of the gate control theory. Thank me later!
“I wanted to message you and let you know you helped me have the most incredible birth! I’m 23, and just had my first baby. Completely unmedicated and only a minor tear!! We had 24 hours of labor and I used Floppy Face Floppy Fanny to get me through it along with a comb for pressure! During transition I was on my side in KICO breathing through the contractions. My body started involuntarily pushing so I moved to my back to be more comfortable and have more leverage. I started to get a bit overwhelmed with everything, my incredible OB looked at me in the face and said “gain control you got this.” I replied “I got control” After 3 good pushes, my baby girl was born and placed on my chest. We latched beautifully five minutes after being born and laying on my chest. I never thought I’d ever consider not getting an epidural and now I’m so thankful I didn’t and rocked my first birth with no problem. I have never felt more vulnerable yet powerful in my life. So in other words, thank you for putting out all your advice and knowledge. You did so much for my birth and making it even better. You’re incredible.”

No matter who you are, what your past life or current life entails it’s safe to know that YOU can influence with the power of the mind and when you do, magical things really do start to happen!

Much love
